Fundraising in memory of a loved one can be a lovely way to honour and celebrate that person.

We work with families who choose to donate funeral donations, take on an epic challenge, hold an event in a place that was special to their lost loved one, or quietly donate on the person's birthday each year.

Everyone grieves differently, and we're here to help you remember your loved one in a way that feels right to you.

Creating an In Memory fundraising page

Your own personalised website page is a lovely way to keep all your donations and messages in one place. The page can be personalised with a photo and your own words.

Please get in touch with Hannah [email protected] 07849691356 and she'll be happy to set up your page for you.

Other ways we can help

  • Develop your ideas. You might have no idea where to start - we can make suggestions and turn your half-formed ideas into achievable plans

  • Help you with the nitty-gritty planning of your event - from recommending suppliers to planning routes, we can lighten the load

  • Send you bespoke resources, to suit your plans and the person you're remembering

  • Create special posters and social media posts to help you promote your fundraising and celebrate your loved one

In Memory fundraisers

Everest Base Camp

Kurtis, his dad and his friends took on an epic challenge in 2022 and climbed to Everest Base Camp in Memory of his Mum, Ruth. The photograph at the top if this page shows the team when they arrived at base camp, with a flag we made for them.

In Memory of Eric

We all completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge in 11 hours and 56 minutes. It was one of the hardest things we've ever done, but we all got through it together, with sweat, tears, blisters and a bit of sun burn. It was an absolutely amazing day, for such a special man, and I know he would of been looking down on us proudly. He definitely sent us the sunshine. I am so pleased we have managed to raise so much for your wonderful charity. I really hope it will help.

Buffy Younger Impact Fund

When Buffy died her family wanted to create a lasting legacy for Buffy.

The Buffy Younger Impact Fund is dedicated to improving treatment for aplastic anaemia by enabling research and clinical advancement, so that in the future no-one has to lose someone they love to this condition.

Buffy's Fund is about providing seed funding for some of our biggest research priorities, and enabling this small charity - the only one for people affected by aplastic anaemia in the UK - to punch above our weight and make big things happen.

By raising funds to specifically fund the opportunities identified by in The Future of Clinical Care and Research in Aplastic Anaemia report - we will secure a long-lasting legacy for Buffy.
