William's Warriors' 12k Nuclear Rush Donate We are William's Warriors! Our team made up of brother and sister Aaron and Keira, their cousin Louise and Keira's partner Simon. We are taking part in Nuclear Rush, a 12k mud race with over 70 obstacles on Saturday 9th May 2026. Aaron and Keira's young nephew William was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia in 2025 and we wish to raise some money to help The Aplastic Anaemia Trust's work in funding research to improve treatment, providing expert information, and their tireless work to support every aplastic anaemia patient and their loved ones. What is aplastic anaemia?Aplastic anaemia is a rare and life threatening condition caused by the bone marrow not functioning properly. In people with aplastic anaemia, the bone marrow fails to produce enough of all three types of blood cells – red, white and platelets.Aplastic anaemia treatment is very similar to the treatment someone might have for leukaemia - but because it's so rare, families often don't have access to the same information and support. The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting people affected by aplastic anaemia and funding research into this rare form of bone marrow failure. By donation you'll be... Providing support for people affected by aplastic anaemia. The AAT are determined that anyone facing a diagnosis will have someone available to talk to about it - someone who understands what they’re going through. Funding some really exciting research, which means a way forward towards more treatment options, and a deeper understanding of which patients will respond to which treatment.
